The Helene Jeans is based on heritage denim jeans from the 1930’s-1960’s. It has traditional 5 pocket styling including two front scoop pockets, a coin pocket inside the right front pocket, and two pointed patch pockets on the back. It also features slight hip shaping while keeping the side selvedge seams unaltered from hip to hem.
This is the best pattern I have ever come across, making it dead easy to sew brilliant, snug fitting pants in no time! I had to adjust to different sizes at the waist and hips and Anna guided me in the best of ways. Love absolutely everything about these pants and the pattern + instructions to make them!

Another expertly drafted pattern from Anna! Clear instructions, great sizing options, and only one pattern piece (2 if you want pockets!) What a fun sewing experience. I love my new shorts. This is a great pattern if you're a beginning sewist, but it is still interesting if you're more advanced.
